Sometimes the best way to reach new social media savvy fans is to reach them where they hang out … right in Facebook … by building native Facebook applications. Apps live right inside Facebook and have access to functions not available in any other way.

Facebook Apps

We have significant experience building Facebook apps having developed apps for Rogers Media, Ottawa Bluesfest and Just for Laughs (three apps: French and English for Montreal and English only for Toronto) . Our festival apps reproduce the complete social video calendar that includes video, a personal calendar, sharing and checking out friend's calendars.

Facebook Pages

Every major brand wants to attract more people to their Facebook pages. Starting in April 2011, our Facebook Apps can be integrated into one of your Facebook page tabs! This is a very big deal since exploring events from within a Facebook page is much more likely to lead to sharing with friends and creating awareness for your events.

 

Facebook Events

Most of our customers would love to have all their events exist as Facebook events since that feature is so heavily used by Facebook users and is highly viral. However, when you have hundreds of performances, creating the events and updating them is a major chore. The result is that most festivals don't use Facebook events because of that. Too bad.

So we're fixing this. Starting in April, our customers will have the option to AUTOMATICALLY publish events to Facebook! We're integrating our API with the Facebook API so this can be seamless for our customers … a simple check box in our content management system. Cool no?
